I support individuals, traditional and non-traditional couples/groups of all ages, sexuality and identities to explore their issues. Whether you are coming to therapy to make a change, make sense of yourself or past experiences, or simply want someone to listen to you, I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for you to explore your life, relationships and concerns. I offer inclusive and neurodivergent-affirmative therapy. Whatever your goals, together we will try to understand any repetitive patterns of unfulfilling behaviour and gain insight into how past experiences have come to shape present-day experiences.

I have experience working with a range of concerns including:

  • anxiety and stress

  • low mood and depression

  • sexuality and gender identity

  • poor self-esteem and self-confidence

  • neurodivergence

  • relationship issues and major life changes

  • breaking out of self-defeating patterns.

How I work

I have experience working with a diversity of concerns. I use relational Transactional Analysis (TA) as my main theoretical framework to help understand why we get stuck in repetitive patterns of unfulfilling behaviour and gain insight into how our past experiences have come to shape present-day experiences. I foster a more equal relationship between us, so if there’s something you’re not happy with or disagree with you can tell me and we will explore it together. This also means I give honest feedback about what it’s like to be in relationship with you, and what that tells us about how you are in relationship with other people and yourself.

Research indicates that the single most important aspect of successful therapy is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client. I therefore invite you to come as you are so we can talk comfortably. I can help you make better sense of your experiences, thoughts and feelings. Together we can discover meanings, recognise patterns, and explore more options.

I welcome enquiries for a wide range of issues and each session is 50 minutes long. There is no limit to how many sessions you can have. I offer an initial, free-of-charge, conversation, so we can both assess if we want to work together. If we decide to work together, we will agree on a therapeutic contract in which we may decide upon a limited number of sessions, or long-term open-ended work.

I am a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and in my final years of training at the Metanoia Institute in London, working toward my qualification of Certified Transactional Analyst.
